Cell Repair Services Are a Valuable Asset

And those cell phone warranties pushed on unsuspecting consumers when they purchase their phone? Simple math and a careful reading of the policy reveals that it's much more financially responsible to save that "nominal" monthly fee and repair your cell phone in the event of a problem. At five dollars a month, you've spent sixty dollars in the first year of your contract-which is more expensive than many common cell phone repairs.

But what about consumers whose cell phones aren't broken? What if you just aren't happy with the look or function of your cell phone? A qualified cell phone repair company often offers multiple modification services to existing cell phones, giving consumers the freedom to customize the look, feel, and function of their device.

And what if your cell phone needs have changed? Cell phone companies lock consumers into long contracts which ignore the simple fact that a lot can happen in two years.

For instance, if you're traveling overseas on a family vacation or business trip, your stateside cell phone probably isn't going to have service overseas, leaving you out of touch for an extended period of time. Don't worry; a competent cell phone repair technician may be able to convert your cell phone into a global cell phone for a fraction of what it would cost to purchase a world phone at retail prices. The only way to know, of course, is to ask-which is free.

Cell companies discourage this practice, because they'd rather sell you a new, upgraded phone (and entice you into a new, multi-year contract). When they do recommend repair on a broken cell phone, they try to keep all repairs in-house, dodging competitive market forces.
